Constantina Voulgaris, an internationally-acclaimed documentary maker and her team of writers, journalists and media producers came up to us with a real challenge: the production and business development of a social-savvy, visually hip, radical online magazine/newshub. Curating an online outlet of contemporary culture and politics from a critical viewpoint and organising grassroots production from left-wing and anarchist providers lies at the heart of the project. We produced an identity based on a pre-existing logo, and fueled Hit&Run with strategy on how it can grow commercially. In December 2014 we co-produced the new website, transfomring the architecutre and user experience. The end result is a design-sound, state-of-the-art website which fleshes out the richness and depth of Hit&Run’s editorial philosophy.
